EYX is the Experience Day, a disruptive pilot initiative aimed at fundamentally shifting how candidates are assessed and engaged for the audit business. The key objectives of this innovation revolve around attraction, selection and optimisation, with performance indicators including reducing time-to-offer, accelerating fill rates, cutting internal interviewer costs, improving candidate engagement and perception, and reducing offer declines and reneges.

Central to EYX is the Adventure Awaits platform, which uses cutting-edge technology to create an immersive and dynamic experience for candidates. The platform served as a virtual hub, offering candidates a space for self-discovery and skills development. Features include the Recruiter Tips Trail, a situational judgement quiz, a strengths guide and countdown videos.

Results to date, in comparison with data from mid-January 2023 to post-implementation metrics, include a 25% drop in average time-to-offer, from 88 to 66 days; a 32% uplift in the number of roles filled; a £300k reduction in the interviewer billable hours; and a 61% decrease in the number of offers declined or reneged.
