We Optimise and Amazon Flex UK
The eligibility period of 2022-23 found this long-running campaign achieve great success years after its initial conception, when the UK logistics arm of Amazon engaged We Optimise to take on a pilot project to recruit 20,000 Delivery Partners across 40 UK locations. Connected to the pilot project was a mandate that this would be extended if successful. In the intervening years after the initial project was successfully completed and the extension was in place, the world changed as did the environment in which Amazon had to operate with the onslaught of the global pandemic. Fast forward to the end of 2023, with many challenges new and old dealt with, the application-per-hire percentage improved to 58.1%, meaning that it now takes less than two applications to deliver a successful hire. During that same late period, the highest number of hires – over 105,000 – was achieved, while still keeping cost-per-hire below £10.
