Among VHR’s successes: In January 2023, a major high-profile brand automarker chose VHR to support their latest electric vehicle (EV) model launch. They lacked a large volume of skilled engineers across their supply chain. Missing deadlines to put the new vehicle together meant the car could not be taken to market. The auto manufacturer has a £20bn turnover, so the new product launch and sales were crucial to long-term business success. VHR recruited for five different suppliers to the brand across their engineering supply chain. Ultimately, recruitment drives in Germany, Czechia and Romania led to VHR’s delivery of high-skilled manpower including computer-aided designers, computer numerical control machinists, EV technology specialists and project directors to design, develop and build the ambitious project.

Another example of success was pioneering fixed-price solutions for aviation clients.  Leveraging their expertise and industry insights, VHR assembled a team of specialised aircraft structural contractors to execute complex aircraft modifications. On the debut project using this system, a ‘pickle fork’ alteration on a Boeing 737, the task was completed in six days, two days faster than the standard eight days.
