VHR

VHR describes itself as a “global technical talent creation agency that specialises in recruitment, training and relocation, bridging skill gaps ethically wherever they exist”. 

In one example of outstanding innovation, VHR worked with a client to build a corps of aircraft seat technicians in Dubai, where a major global airline was refreshing its first-class suite. VHR collaborated with the client to develop a three-week seat overhaul training programme, transforming upholsterers and technicians into seating specialists. VHR recruited technicians from the Philippines for their relevant skills and proximity to training. Within 17 weeks, VHR deployed 42 specialists to Dubai, providing comprehensive support. The client now delivers first-class seats punctually, garnering additional contracts. And VHR received an order for 46 more contractors from its client. The specialists who were recruited and trained earn six times their Philippines salary, receive free housing, flights and transport, and comprise a motivated, cost-effective workforce.

Another of VHR’s many achievements has been to introduce offshore virtual design services for its construction clientele in the UAE. This has allowed VHR to slash design costs by 35% and it has provided a USP (unique selling proposition) that differentiates the company from its competitors. The offshore team has 70 staff members who receive salaries 50% to 75% above market rates.
